Our Name

Finding your way in today’s IT world can be challenging, confusing, and at times treacherous for many business owners and executives. We believe that it is imperative to provide an IT stronghold to our clients where their business can thrive without the worry and confusion of trying to understand the ever changing IT environment on their own. We believe so strongly in the idea and need for an IT stronghold or safe place that we chose a name that reflects that. ARCIS, pronounced ARK-SIS, is a Latin word meaning stronghold or fortress.

History

Jeff Rapp began the vision of what was to become ARCIS Technology Group, Inc. in 2001 after years working for IT consulting firms that definitely did not ask themselves; “Is what we are doing right for our client?” After three years deepening his experience in small and medium business operations by working as the Director of Distribution Operations for a local company, Jeff began Rapp Technology Services, Inc.

Over the next 6 years of measured growth the company has transformed into what Jeff originally envisioned it to be. An independent technology consulting firm offering advice, guidance, and services to small and medium sized organizations with only one rule that guides everything we do; That rule is that the answer to the question, “Is what we are doing best for your company and its success?”, must be a resounding “Yes!” from our clients and employees.
